Notes on Trestman:

-Both ESPN and Pro Football Weekly have mentioned Marc Trestman as a prime candidate to be Ron Rivera's OC in Carolina

-Trestman tutored Jimmy Clausen prior to the draft

-

SportsnetJim Jim Lang

When I asked coach Marc Trestman this AM about reports he's a top candidate to be Ron Rivera's OC - he refused to comment

-

daringantt‎ OC, but not here. Heard he's got something else lined up. RT @CatalystNX Marc Trestman more likely for O.C. or QB coach?

For those of you who wanted Brad Childress as our OC...he is interviewing with the Dolphins today...

...maybe they gave up on Chudzinski for a reason?

Yeah I dont expect Chud to leave Charlotte without a contract. His work with young QB's is huge.

Hope they announce both OC and DC at the same time. I give it less then a week and the staff will be formed.

When has he ever worked with QBs? I thought that was Ramsdell. From what I know he worked exclusively with TEs.

Heres the thing. Chud got one good year out of Anderson...well he didn't just suck in Chud's last year, hes sucked ever since. Chud has since rebounded and found success in San Diego, and Anderson, well he still sucks. about all you need to know. hes still well regarded around the league

If Rob Chudzinski becomes our next OC, Here is some info you may want to know:

In 2001, his Miami Hurricane offense set a school record for scoring with 475 points in the regular season scoring at least 33 points in 10 of 12 games.

In 2002 his Miami Hurricane offense again set new school records for points with 527, total yards with 6,074 and rushing touchdowns with 33.

In 2007 his Cleveland Browns offense ranked eighth in the NFL in scoring and total yards as Cleveland compiled a 10-6 record.
