ESPN does not want Luck in Carolina

If Elway gets Harbaugh and we have a work stoppage, I can see the two trying to manipulate their boy like that. Elway has first hand experience with this kinda thing.

I don't really see Marty Hurney relenting on that.

If they were to try that route, I expect they'd be sorely disappointed.

what happens if someone holds out and re-enters the draft? I remember Crabtree talking about possibly doing that back in 2009, and wondered if a team is reimbursed with their draft pick if that happens.

Don't think so.

It's not exactly a good move for the player. The NCAA won't restore your eligibility, so you have to sit out a year of football and then try to convince everybody you're still just as good as you were before after that year off.

actually, I think you can't play for anyone else untill you're rights are traded or three years pass? and... I think whatever team does draft you has to compensate the original team? might be wrong, but I don't think it is as easy as "I'm not gonna sign - I'll try again next year".

The funniest scenario would be Harbaugh to Denver/49ers, they mortgage the farm to get Luck from us - then one or the other of them flop big time.

Funny scenario to me...

1. Harbaugh goes to Denver

2. Luck declares/we draft him

3. Luck demands a trade

4. We say we are open to trade negotiations with any team besides Denver.

Harbaugh would lose his franchise QB and had a chance to get him if came to Carolina (not entirely harbaughs fault if JR and Hurney doesnt even interview him), and we rape whoever else wants to trade for Luck by aquiring what we demand for him.

Lmao, if u think about it, if it did go down like that it would probably be the funniest thing in NFL history

Getting back to the topic. I'm seeing alot of hate being thrown the Panthers way. Everything from "no way Luck will go to Carolina", to "Panthers to L.A." News flash.....everyone's not a Steeler /Cowboys fan. Of course the root of this hate is the possiblity that Luck becomes a Panther and Carolina becomes the next NE or Indy. That would truly pi$$ off the "experts" in yankee land.
