Did anyone in the press conference say specifically that they would take Luck? I watched the whole thing and I didn't see that... they were asked if they would keep the 1st overall pick or trade out of it and they said they most likely would keep it, but they never said who they would use it on.

They said they wanted to use it on someone who would become the face of the franchise.

How many non-quarterbacks are the face of a franchise?

It was obvious.
