Harbaugh back to Stanford?

Can anyone verify if that is actually Harbaugh's offical twitter account? I don't have one.

If that's the case, and he really will "Be at a lot of Tree's games next year!" then:

A-> He's headed to San Fran

B-> Just another way of saying he is staying (more likely imo).

Carroll won national titles. Harbaugh got what? Not even Pac-10

Carroll had two blemishes: Reggie Bush violations and a previous stint as a NFL head coach with mixed results.

Harbaugh seems to have 3 or more NFL teams seriously interested in him so he is in a unique position to make demands and drive his price up.

Sorry guys, that's not him.

I was so quick to post it that I didn't look at his followers or previous tweets. I knew he had a Twitter account, and didn't even think about it.

I don't know man. Harbaugh is kind of in the same position as Luck. Their value can't really get any higher than it is now, and who's to say Stanford has a down year next season? At the moment he is the best coaching prospect available, with teams (rumored to be) offering him complete control of the team. Not sure if he wants to pass that up. I hope not at least lol.

on that same twitter account, "Harbaugh" asks where is the best place to get pancakes in Charlotte and asks OchoCinco if he wants to come play for him in Carolina next year. That, and plus he cusses alot and calls people homos. So I'd say its a fake.

Well, the 49ers and Broncos are going to have to interview at least one other candidate anyways to satisfy the Rooney rule and any responsible team will interview several candidates as a matter of due-dillegence in the hiring process... so I wouldn't read much into the 49ers and Broncos requesting interviews with other candidates.

Mularkey isn't a Rooney Rule candidate.

That's the thing. I don't think anyone is offering him total control, at least not yet.

Thinking back, we probably should have seen this coming. It's no shock that he'd want the kind of deal Pete Carroll got (especially given their rivalry).

Regarding the Michigan job, from the article Squirrel posted:

Jim Harbaugh is highly unlikely to accept the Michigan football coaching job if it becomes available, a person with direct knowledge of Harbaugh’s thinking told the Free Press.

Harbaugh plans to decide this week whether he wants to take a job in the NFL. If he stays in college coaching, he has decided he will stay at Stanford, where he has built a potential powerhouse. It would take an extreme change of heart for Harbaugh to end up in Ann Arbor, according to the person, who did not want to be identified because Rich Rodriguez is still U-M’s coach.
