You guys really didn't like JR's Presser?

Are you kidding me? It was classic! The problem with many of you is you aren't used to an owner coming out and just laying it on the line like he did. If you want bad, go to the Bills website and pull up Ralph wilson's Pressers, THEN you see what senile is!

JR came straight with it. The press is full of poo and he called them on it. He smacked the hell out of them and they need it, ALL of the morons in the media need it.

We aren't going after harbaugh, now you know, no more guessing.

We aren't trading the first over all pick, no more worry or speculating if some moron in the Media sites his 'sources' to the contrary.

We are taking Andrew Luck #1 overall if he comes out. Again no more speculation or worry.

We are going after a top Coordinator, most likely a defensive one, which the really good teams do. ALL top notch HC's were something less at one time. If Rivera turns out like Tomlin in Pitt, then by God we hit Gold.

I didn't see anything wrong with the presser at all. Some of you really need to relax or get laid or something, you are wound WAY too tight.

We are taking Luck. JR will be hammering out the contract the second he has declared AND the CBA is fixed. Holding the #1 pick you can do that and he will get it done.

JR isn't screwing around, he is sick of losing and he knows he needs a face to the franchise and great teams have a Franchise QB. Luck is the pick.

Oh and ESPN says on their site they talked with 'sources' that confirmed Luck is the pick lol :-)

I thought his grilling of the media was pretty funny and I appreciate his candor... I guess we're not used to it after getting such a big dose of Fox/Hurney over the years.

Exactly. Man I have heard so many worthless assed PC's from Ralph Wilson and his BS and lies, this is a breath of fresh air. And the blah blah blah 'it is what it is' crap from Hurney and Fox has everyone numb. This is a shot everyone needs.

JR is being straight up, the media is full of poo, and we are not moving from #1 and we are taking luck. Man I don't see any worries at all right now.

CBA? There will come a point when the players will have enough of maurice Smith's bull poo, he will be out and a deal will get done. They want to get paid.

I'm not excited about it, at all. The whole presser screamed one thing to me:

"ILOVE MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY."

Not even talk with Harbough? That's annoying. Go after an assistant coach? That's fine, but you should try all your options. Mainly, they want someone they can go cheap on and Harbough isn't that right now.

Cutting vets so the coach will play young players? BS. It was about money. If it wasn't ALL about money, he would have fired Fox right then if he felt that was an issue, but once again, MONEY.

The next coach better come in and improve this team drastically, or I think a ton of fans around here are going to move on to some team that has an owner that cares a bit more. I have faith he will, but let's see.

the most depressing thing he said is that he's going to continue his crusade to 'prove a point' (as if it worked out well for him this year) by sitting on his hands while all the top FAs are grabbed up. as if we don't have holes to fill.

At what point did he ever say anything remotely close to this?

(paraphrase) "we're not re-signing any of our free agents until the CBA is done."

know who's not gonna wait? winning teams. Deangelo is gone day 1.

There will be no free agency until the CBA is reached. Teams can resign their own players, and I'm sure that some teams might resign a few, as some already have. But Deangelo can't just walk to another team until the CBA is reached.

Most of the people here just jump on the most popular guy's bandwagon. Right now that's Jim Harbaugh. JR is going to make the best decision he feels is right for the team. He will do what he wants. Also, I'm so very sure that JR remembers how close he was to landing Peyton Manning back in 1998. If Lucks there he will likely take him. Just because we don't have Douche Harbaugh doesn't mean can't have Luck and it doesn't mean that two are codependent for success.

Just shut up.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
