Todd McShay had a great reason why we shouldn't hire Harbaugh

Good point but it should not be considered when choosing a coach. If harbaugh fits what we want to do with our team then hire him. If he dose not dont.... Luck should not effect our coaching hire in any way. Not that it want but it shouldn't.

i will be happy with either harbaugh or luck. still think that the two of them together is ideal, but i can understand what mcshay is saying.

for luck, the important thing will be to have a HC or at least a brilliant OC that can challenge luck and give him a more complicated and innovative offense to play in.

for harbaugh, you need to have a really smart QB that he can build a relationship with and who will bring much of the same qualities that luck has. this team needs a QB like that anyways.

as much as i would like to have both of them here, i know its got a small chance of happening. there are still many ways that this team could improve and it isn't all based on one or two people coming. it does depend, though, on us having a serious upgrade at QB and a balls to the wall aggressive HC who knows that you have to have a potent offense to win.

And there is no favoritism going on between Brady and Belicheck? Brady was taken out of the game on Sunday early in the game, but as soon as Hoyer threw one incomplete pass, Brady came back in and played for another quarter. (Belichick also did this when Cassell was there.) Who cares, they are grown men. If we're hopeful, we can trade Clausen in a packaged deal.

I think the prospect of Luck and Harbaugh being successful in the big league together (which might make history, you know how America likes breaking every record known to man) is much more appealing than caring about being their own man.
