I didn't find it surprising at all - it's not that unusual at a small press conference, especially because he was talking about how long he'd been gone etc and how many new faces there were.

Wow Hurney said that the NFL is in the negatives 200 million. More proof that we need to cut big unproven rookie contracts. I believe that alone should cut cost especially since each year a top pick usually gets about 40-50 million contracts, cap it off and there could be a lot of money saved each year.
