So is JR killing the teams old rep that players wanted to play here? He is now coming off course, tough and unwilling to budget with players. Why would Luck want to play for an owner like this? I am hoping that his dad talks $$ and cents with him and gets him to make the right decision, but JR might just be killing it with his mouth!!!

I don't think JR has the first clue, how badly he has hurt the image of the Panthers. A few short years ago, the Panthers were considered a model franchise, now its freaking joke. You have Jay Glazer on National TV going on and on about how cheap we are. We are quickly heading towards Al Davis and Raiderville.

I really don't think Harbaugh is being considered... at least strongly. There may have been contact, but I think they've settled on an assistant.

News broke today that the Bengals are likely bringing back Marvin Lewis, which brings up a name I had considered a favorite for our HC job during the season: Mike Zimmer. I really like him and think he'd be a real solid choice. I figured he'd get the Bengals job once Lewis left, but with Lewis coming back hopefully we'll at least interview him.

It's common courtesy for reporters to give their names and media outlets ... he was simply asking so that he could direct his responses appropriately. It's his way.

Yeah, that is just his way, and part of who he is. It's also another reason why most of the people in that room seemed to be scared sh*tless of him the way he asked it. It was almost as if the next words out of his mouth was going to be GTFO! :lol:
