We have to take it at face value: He's not interested in Harbaugh.

I honestly don't think there was any cover up at all. To me, they are definatley focusing on assistants and if thats the case, Rivera should be the best option and hopefully can lure some coaches away from his previous jobs. He mentioned Mike Tomlin and alluded to the Peyton, but for every successful one, theres a couple terrible one, so it's still easier said than done.

We are going to have to get over that old Steelers mindset at some point and open the offense up, so it's a little disheartening when he says they haven't even spoke to Harbagh. The only part I found strange was when he said "I'm sure he's a nice guy". I always thought Jerry was the type of owner that took time to know his players so surely he'd have an interaction with him before.

I feel worse than the afterwards, especially with the CBA, when one of the head guys talks about it like that, it doesn't look good.

Jerry Richardson is quite capable of choosing his words that carefully. He is not a stupid or senile man.

There's a decent chance that JR isn't consulted in all coach talks. He gave Hurney and Morrison the authority to get him some candidates, which involves talks that he wouldn't be aware of. Perhaps he did ask Hurney if he had talked to Harbaugh, Hurney said no but Morrison has and the rest is history, but that... I mean, why be that deceptive?

Well since she bashed on him so much this season on their stupid ass show with Brotha Fred, I think he wanted to call her out and make her feel like kind of an asshole today. She seems embarrassed. Im sure it was all in good fun but he did pretty much call her out
