Panthers get permission to interview Ron Rivera

Of all the guys that we are probably going to hire (Grimm, Fewell, etc), I am most excited about Rivera. He has a great resume. He has coached a number of different defensive systems with great success, he has been around some varied offensive styles, and he was a good player.

I don't know why he has yet to get a head coaching job, and maybe there is something wrong about the guy I am missing. But I feel like there is a lot there to get excited about if we get him.
