What did I say about Moore and Clausen other than I didn't like either one, but thought it wise wiser to stick with Clausen in hopes he was our future? He isn't, and I still dislike both.

There is the normal troll, like from another team's board, that makes an account just to goof on us. Then there are guys like P55 who admit they like to have fun with the board. He did as much this season with Clausen. Hell...even Zod trolls the forum. It's impossible to think you can actually be serious about Vince Young. Thus...to me, you're trolling.

I think you are trolling VY who is actually a viable prospect but that's just me.

Re-sign Moore, sign a vet backup, and draft bpa regardless of position.

More and more people beginning to see the reality.

moore?? ARE YOU JOKING?? you are about a season behind.

Even if Moore doesn't make it as a starter he's a quality back up in every sense of the word, and we need one of those just as bad as we need a starter. Moore's a no brainer for the back-up position.

I hate people wanting to drop LaFell/Gettis to #3/#4 on our team. They are both very talented and capable of #2 spots.

Not AJ Green capable though. And they would only drop for a year. Smitty will be number 3 as a slot receiver two years from now if he's still here. Hopefully out of the two of them, one of them can truly be our #2.

You have to look beyond just next season. Long term can you really put your faith that any one of these guys will be able to fill Smith's shoes? On top of that, if we DON'T take AJ Green now, what are the chances we get our hands on another possibly Elite WR a year or two from now when we REALLY need one?

And you could say the same exact thing to justify taking any of those defensive players.

I'm sure Moore will handle the pressure of being "the guy" and really do well for us!

Just like last year!

Well now that he personally saw how horrible Clausen is, he doesn't have to worry about him breathing over his shoulder. He could become the cool, calm Moore from 2009. Win-Win!! Who said Clausen wasn't a team player?!?!

Not really. We haven't been searching for a position on defense for the past decade, and our defense wasn't the worst in the league last year.

Our defense is still fairly young and it's much easier to find top defensive players in FA at a fair price, in later rounds during following drafts, than top WR with their entire careers in front of them.

I'll give you a CB, since those guys are hard to find also but come on, we need guys who can score the most! No debate there.

we do need to pay attention to the offense...but WR is more of a risk than just about any other position. why is it that there have only been 2 WRs ever taken first overall?

it's a huge risk and it wouldn't get us more wins. it just adds to an already crowded WR corps.
