You're right, what "I" want as a lone individual doesn't matter much but what "WE" want as a collective fanbase does. If the Panthers got thousands of emails from fans asking for Harbaugh, they would have to at least consider it purely from a business standpoint.

I'm sure they're already considering Harbaugh (so is Gantt) as a potential candidate, so if they arrived at some sort of a tie between Harbaugh and some other candidate you're telling me hundreds or thousands of emails from fans in support of hiring Harbaugh would not be part of the consideration at some level?

Bottom line, email is free and the Panthers have consistently asked for fan feedback on everything from parking to football operations so why not take 5 minutes to send them an email and let them know what you think? If they ignore it or don't care, then you've lost nothing.
