Hurney is not currently under contract.. however, I expect him to sign a contract very soon. In what capacity, I am not sure. I would expect Cowher to want some sort of say on player personnel. If we have anyone other than Cowher, I expect Hurney to be our GM with all the same responsibilities.

Then JR came out in the media saying how Fox was coming back the next year and all of a sudden Cowher said he was going to keep his position at CBS for the time being. We missed that train

This mindset the Panther organization is a laughing stock and coaches, players are not going to want to come into "this situation" is absurd and not true. And the statement "this situation" is so vague and generic. There are ALOT worse places one can go and end up than here.

Cowher is a guy who wouldn't get a 'formal interview' anywhere.. you don't really interview guys like him. You know what you are getting with him.
