We didn't have our true starting Oline all year. We will probably bring in a corner, but we have young depth there already that might pan out. A second year Hardy could very well be the added DE we need considering how well Johnson played this year.

Seriously. Clausen is bad. The idea we'd pass on Luck because of him has no water. If you throw enough at Hurney maybe he'd pull the trade trigger, but he'd be a dumbass to do so. Clausen is BAD. I can't say this enough. I know you don't know the history of posters here but I was a big Clausen supporter and defender until midway through the season. He has shown almost no progress at all and that has really pushed me away from him.

Here comes the calvary. Coaching was prime reason for our failure this season. At LB we had Dan Conner and James Anderson look like potential probowlers. Conner fell to injury. Thomas Davis has been a probowl snub for a while. When healthy that LB core is bat poo scary.

V. Davis is a better talent than Rosario and Barnidge. However under the right coach R+B can be very dangerous receiving options. Our RB trio is the best in the business. At WR Morgan and Crabtree are legit targets. We all know who Steve Smith is but don't underestimate Gettis and LaFell. They faired far better than anyone expected this season. QB play put everyone's numbers way down.

I'm gonna go ahead and say your NT is better than what we've got at DT, since we've field nothing their but poo their for 2 years. However at DE Greg Hardy has scary potential, Charles Johnson is now an 11.5 sack player, though E. Brown needs another year. We've got pass rushers up the wazzoo it's DT where we need the help.

I don't really know how to grade our offensive line as of yet but I think we all now know that Otah was a much bigger piece than previously thought. I'm afraid Gross maybe falling off but he is coming off of injury. QB play is also part of line play. Wharton and Kalil are great players.

Coaching was both our teams problems BUT 49ers had Singletary who didn't know wtf to do with that team. Atleast fox had some insight on how to coach a team.

-Both teams had a good amount of injuries.

-O line for the panthers were sub par decent, 49ers o line had growing pains with a OT that was just horrid, horrid at the beginning to mid way of the season. Gotta give them the same grade.

All in all, Both lacked the same things, mostly anyways. Secondary, not.

If you haven't seen promise with our young players at LB, Corner, DE and, as shitty as they have played, mostly due to QB play, our offense, then you're completely clueless.

Also, since when does blow alter your ability to perceive reality? Maybe chew my fingernails off and have trouble swallowing my beer while I watch us suck, but not change my ability to understand what I'm watching.
