Official Orange Bowl / Andrew Luck Gameday Thread....

My halftime analysis:

Worst game for Luck I've seen. Lots of pressure being under the spotlight tonight (along with Plunkett, Elway etc).

If this game continues like this you've got to wonder what this will do for his draft prospects, whether Harbaugh will want to leave on a bad note with this loss, etc.

Be honest, how many Stanford games have you seen this year? Because I don't know how you can make that statement without seeing the majority of their games. I'm not gonna lie, I've only seen bits and pieces of the Oregon and Arizona game, so I can't make a statement like that. But, I don't think he's doing all that bad, he's making some good throws.

I think the CA stands for California, so I assume he has seen a few of them.

Luck has been hit and miss. He has thrown behind a couple of receivers, and ahead of one that led to a int. And he held on to the ball to long on the safety. He has made some nice throws as well, he has one heck of an arm.

But the big run and Stanford's defense is why they are ahead.

Very honest assessment.

Being a Pac Ten guy I've seen plenty of Andrew Luck this year. While he's not playing his best game by any means it's certainly not his worst ever and he's not playing bad either. He's made a couple of bad throws (not Clausen bad, like barely missed a guy bad). One of Lucks weaknesses is he always wants to make a play, he hates to take a sack or throw it out of bounds.....I think we''re seeing that some tonight. All in all I would give him a solid B for his performance so far, however watching him the last two years I know he's a better player then what the prisoner of the moment fans here are seeing ......

It's not like V Tech is bad defensive team. They have a great game plan for this Stanford offense and they are executing it well. I'm interested to see how Harbaugh & Co. adjust though.

Pac 10< ACC< SEC< 'Bama-- In other words, Stanford isn't even facing an elite team in an elite conference with an elite defense; no disrespect to VT.

I thought luck's last TD gave them the lead?

I live down the road from Stanford in San Jose, CA. I tried to watch every Stanford game on TV since it's local here...

I'm telling you the guy was unreal when I watched over the past year. I rarely saw an incompletion let alone a pick. There's a reason why all, and I mean every sport analyst is so high on him.

My earlier post I meant IF they lose tonight it'd be going out on a bad note and was wondering if that'd change anything.

Did you see his stats? 9-13 or something and 85 yrds, 1 TD 1 INT. Not very good if you ask me...
