QB- hey guys i don't know about you but we could use a mentor at this position

WR- guys i don't think smith warms up to the rookies we need a mentor wide receiver

maybe we can get a mentor long snapper and a mentor return specialist so the STs unit is adequately mentored with all the mentors we need to mentor the mentors

May not be a bad thing if we get Luck that he sits next season while a vet starts anyway...

This. Even if Luck declares and we get him we should not go into the season with the plan of him immediately starting. If he comes in and lights it completely up then sure but that's a loooot of immediate pressure to succeed to put on what amounts to a kid.

He might be an immediate starter but if there is a vet here who can start camp as the presumptive starter and wait for <insert our new QB's name here> to supplant him it would be better for the rookie.

I have an awesome idea! Lets hire a coach that is supposed to be a mentor to the QB. A dedicated Coach for just the QBs. Lets call it a QB Coach! That way we don't need to waste a roster spot on a washed up veteran.

Nobody said washed up... we need a backup even if we get Luck... hell, especially if we get Luck. Is Clausen or Moore that guy?

      you stayed through Bryce's all time disaster debut, the Frank disaster, the Rhule disaster, the Jimmy Clausen era, etc.  Maybe you are old enough to of lived through the Weinke era or us being so inept DeAngelo Williams basically played QB in a game.   I do not believe Jeanty would break you.  You were born in the darkness, molded by it.
