lol@people thinking Munnerlyn can just waltz in an pick up where Marshall would have left off.

Every #1/#2 Wide-out worth their salt would absolutely own the little guy. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, but if you think Marshall getting beat by 6'2 was WR bad, wait til the QB's see Munnerlyn.

Especially the QB's of the NFC South.

It's because we play in the NFC South, we are going to need a great secondary to match. Alot of you guys want Bailey, but Bailey will be free to sign with whomever he wishes. Carolina would have to overpay this "aging" CB to get him to consider playing here. No, if we are going for an elite corner, we either need to draft PP or Prince (that is not going to happen if Luck comes out), or we need to go after Nnamdi up in Oakland. If we traded for Nnamdi, we wouldn't have to enter a bid for him, and would be able to give him a long term deal which would cost less than bringing Bailey in.

Then we re-sign Marshall and put him back at his rightful spot at nickel. Munnerlyn would then be regulated to the dime package and full duties on special teams. That is a secondary worthy of fighting againts the likes of Brees, Ryan, and Freeman.

marshall is abysmal at tackling. I'm not say gamble is amazing, but he def is more reliable than marshal.

No, Gamble has always been pathetic at tackling. Luckily he's great in coverage so he doesn't have to tackle people too often. But Marshall has always been regarded as good in run support.
