armanti edwards!

Recommended Posts

If I'm not mistaken, Armanti had an 8.0 yards per carry average and the highest QB rating on the team this season. It wasn't his fault the awful Panthers kept doing vanilla Fox offense down 31-3 in the 4th quarter in the last game of a 2-14 season.

1) he ran the ball one time. By this logic we should lock up LaFell as our starting RB next year, he averaged 60 yards per carry.

2) threw for as many yards as I did

3) as bad as that offense was, it did score a TD on its last possession

Edwards had a nice return get called back yesterday though, I will say. He surprised me with his ability to make people miss at the NFL level. I'd give him some looks at QB and especially, KR next year. He can't catch punts. Having guys sky kicks toward him with gunners a foot from him = drops. But having time to grab the ball, then go upfield, = dangerous.

I guess I'm saying.. we spent a 2nd to draft him in the 3rd.. we could have spent a 2nd to draft someone else better in the 3rd..

anyhow, the kid will take a couple years to grow into a WR.. everyone prepare to wait..

The first certainly is a valid statement. I personally wanted Golden Tate pretty badly, despite him not doing much of anything of the Seahawks this year.

2nd...I don't know about a couple years. Let's not put too much stock on him being inactive all year. Foxy had him active for the Atlanta game yet had Lafell throw a pass. If that doesn't scream Fox had a problem with the pick and had an agenda against him I don't know what does.

that's all possible.. I'm just warning the rest of the forum that it takes guys who played WR in college 2-4 years to adjust to the NFL..

Fully expect a QB in college to transition to an NFL WR in the same time..
