I say no because it feels like MJ is just bringing in his friends to be coaches, which you can't do when you are trying to re-build a franchise.

Then part of me says, ok sure, why not give it a shot?

He has done wonders with Howard and Brandon Bass for that matter down in Orlando. He is a young guy(by head-coaching standards) and maybe he could relate more to today's game than Larry did.

Thread title seems misleading. If I read it correctly, Ewing only says he may or may not have talked about being coach of the Bobcats.

I don't think there is any reason right now to feel that Silas will be replaced any time soon. The players seem to like him, and we haven't seen a 30-point blowout since he showed up.
