Someone posting "PFT says this" is just passing along info. You can choose how seriously to take it.

JR just feels more confident in an assistant who has been in the NFL (or so we are told). I don't blame him. It really would be rare for us to go outside of the NFL to grab a HC now that you think about it. But I would still love for Harbaugh to come to Carolina.

Are you joking? If you tell everyone the source, then it is up to you to determine its value. Are you suggesting that someone is banned for objectively posting something ESPN announces? If it is worthless info, then it is still noteworthy to announce that it was said. Spurrier tried to run the spread in the NFL. Harbaugh runs a pro set. The better comparison might be with Walsh.

I think we will at least try to interview him if he's open to it...I'm hoping we don't make money the reason we don't get him..I would hope it would be because the FO decided on someone they thought was a better candidate.

ATM though I don't know of anyone who's better for our young team.

Like I stated and has been clearly illustrated several times by several posters, you guys are really taking it all too seriously.

I never saw a link and therefore never even remotely considered the thread or its subject as being anywhere close to real. But the reaction from a good number of people made me chuckle, and it continues to provide a good laugh as you and many others continue to over react.

Just as you said, "...it is up to you to determine its value..." There was no source, therefore it wasn't credible. Instead of ignoring it and moving on, many of you have really gone off on this....
