Schefter reports Elway to Recruit Harbaugh to Denver

Take all things into consideration... Now, how often has Schefter broke news before Gantt on our team? I don't recall ever.

Now, Gantt's tweet:

Truth of the matter is, Harbaugh's the belle of the ball right now. There are lots of teams who want to talk to him, Panthers included.

He also took a shot at Schefter when someone asked about Harbaugh and said, "Does he still have Cowher on his list?" lol

So at least we know JR is interested. And Gantt hasn't been wrong about Cowher to date either...

That's one where you'd have to consider the likely source.

Glazer is good friends with John Fox, and Fox sincerely believes the team is underpaying him.

Regardless, does the national media pay attention to a "small market" team like us (much less have any inside/expert knowledge to convey)?

Anyone else consider the "cheap label" could be a smear campaign for various reasons against JR and our organization by people from other teams to keep players/coaches from coming here?

Ask Gamble, Jake, Gross, or Fox if we were cheap when giving them their extensions.

say denver does lose and they get the number 2 pick. harbaugh could potentially go there and then trade away his teams future for his QB, even though they have The Golden Calf of Bristol who has shown something these last two games.

why the hell would harbaugh mortgage the future of the team he is about to coach when they are jsut as bad as we are and have jsut as many needs as we do? he would set his franchise back a few years if he did that. it just wouldn't make sense. it would make mroe sense for him to coach here in carolina so he wouldn't have to trade everything away.
