1. Harbaugh staying does not necessarily mean Luck is going to stay as well. Luck's draft stock will never get higher. CBA is soon to be in place and waiting another year would increase the risk of a rookie salary cap and no Big$$$. The relationship is strong, but friendship isn't broken if one or the other departs that school. Luck isn't dumb enough to pass up the Big$$$ to maintain a local relationship with his coach, I don't care how strong the bond is. Last time I checked you can still have long distance friends (even best friends for that matter). But in basic logic we can comprehend the probability of Luck declaring is higher than a lot are lead to believe.

2. Why is everyone kissing John Fox's A** after he was notified of his release after the season? Did a large sum of people come out of hiding after the news was let out? This board was filled with anger and now everyone is thanking him for the 3 out of 9 winning seasons he had. He had some good seasons. 3 good seasons (you can dare to call them great seasons, especially 2003-2004 superbowl). But please people, realize the suffering of having to watch 1930's throwback football each sunday. Even Lombardi would have known to mix up the offense, and he loved to run the ball! (7 blocks of granite).

Luck seems to really love his major, if he stock falls next year he'll just go to a better team and still be a millionare with an arch engineering degree. I can see why he would want to stay. I haven't seen a prospect this highly touted who has such a strong passion for another career though. I'd prefer if football was his only love, but he might just be using the degree as cover for negotiations.

Also people aren't angry anymore because we got what we wanted. Don't kick him while he's down. Thank him for the good times because he's easily the best coach we've ever had, hopefully we find a better one.

Everyone is not overly emotional like you. Most people here respect him because he is a class guy and we did achieve some good things under him...

John Fox did nothing to you blame Management not Fox. And he has given us some of the best years of this young Franchise.
