This is going to be our most interesting offseason yet asca franchise! #1 pick, new coaching staff, JR' gotta show the fans something to generate excitement and rebuild trust... This is going to be really fun. Thank The good lord we have the huddle to share all of this with! Happy new year everyone!

This is the weirdest thing ever that he's still going to coach on Sunday. I've never seen a situation where the owner has made it official that a coach won't be returning, but yet that coach still goes out and coaches another game.

Happened to the arizona coach before green.

f**k that's bullshit Skipper has done a good job. The new WR coach should stay we just hired that guy and he seemed to do a good job with Gettis and LaFell so far.

You know what tho... and I've had this theory for awhile...

The Player's Association (NFLPA), whom is at odds in the CBA issue against the owners, whom Jerry Richardson has become the figurehead, ALSO represents almost all coaches as well.

I am starting to believe that Fox and the Coaching Staff threw our team under the bus this year, because he was at odds with JR's moves on the CBA. As part of that, the coaches and the players staged a silent, subtle, mutiny towards JR and the team.

I think JR either suspected this was going on, or got wind of it, and dropped the fuging hammer on them all.

Just to restate... this is JUST my theory based on how things have gone downhill so fast this year and the behind the scenes stuff unfolding through the year on the CBA. I have no solid evidence to back this up.

I guess this also does make it pretty official that Hurney will be back next year though. Goddamn that's depressing. Thanks for ruining New Year's for me Jerry. I was about to go leave for uptown festivities, I'll make it a point to skip anything Bojangles-related.

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. I hope to hell Marty gets lumped in with the "Staff" that doesn't get renewed.

Here's something that backs up my theory:

In a light atmosphere full of smiles and laughs, the Panthers held their final full practice under Fox on Friday, with the coach insisting he has been preparing for the end of his run with the team for about two years.

And

Fox was first denied a contract extension after the 2008 season. He entered the last year of his deal this fall after the Panthers began a youth movement that has left them an NFL-worst 2-13.

"It's not new," Fox said of his impending departure. "It's something I've been preparing for actually for a couple of years.

We've had a lame duck coach for 2 years. What a f**k-head.

Ya know, I don't normally like to wear my tinfoil hat, but this one does make my conspiracy antenna go up a little bit.

Let's suppose that Richardson is talking to someone, and maybe that someone said "I want all my own staff."

If that were so, then this could be seen as negotiating ploy.

(if you buy into that sort of thing)

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
