Firing Skipper was the dumbest move out of all that .. hes done a great job with the backs

but you simply can't extend his contract right now.

you can't tell a new HC he has to have X position coach. Unless a new HC has a great RB coach I am sure the new HC will likely won't Skipper. Skipper will probably have tons of options. It will be up to him where he goes.

Could be that JR announced this before the game for the same reason the Nines fired Singletary with 1 game left (they did not do that to turn their season around.) Perhaps they are interested in the same coach???

I think the odds on Harbaugh/Luck coming here just went up.
