Because if if JR wanted Hurney then he would sign him. I doubt a part time GM with no contract is going to make choices for this franchise like a full time GM would. Hurney is very limited in what he says goes at this point. It seems by what is goin on right now. JR is doing all the hiring firing and saying what goes on around there right now. So it wouldn't matter if Hurney had a full time contract or not. But as of now there has been no news of hurney been offered a long term contract or of him resigning. So as of now he is most likly gone with Fox and the rest of the staff after next week unless JR all of suddens announces the Hurney will stay.:cheers2:

I honestly wouldn't object to tampering in this case.

If there's a chance to get your guy in a scenario like this, you take it, and take whatever punishment comes your way.

Part of me feels bad for that, but if it means being a legitimate Super Bowl contended for the next 10 seasons, then I'm fine with it.
