I'd pass. Me passing on him has to do with me thinking he would'nt be a good fit for this team, and not his "character issues". You ask me this question last year or years past, I would've said yea and bring him in.

Oh and JR wouldnt touch him. I forgot he had a gold grill in his mouthpiece. JR and a lot of the conservative fanbase would have a heart attack seeing him out there

I'd hate to see Palmer in a Panthers quarterback as well. Why would we trade Steve Smith for another diva receiver and the quarterback who can't get him the ball?

I think this season has shown that a having a veteran QB waiting in the wings isn't a bad thing at all. I wouldn't want him starting, and any contract we take on would have to be augmented, but I'm thinking we will get a vet backup from somewhere. It would make trading Clausen that much more of a reality.

Pike, a vet backup and Luck sounds like a pretty good QB crew to me.

If Smith is serious about leaving, I could see a trade being worked out for Carson Palmer. Both players have shown a decline this last season.

I'd hate to see Ocho Cinco in a Panthers uniform, though.

He's washed up. I'd be all for getting a veteran WR or two. But not that clown.

I think last year the Panthers considered bringing in Terrell Owens. Out of the two, T.O. would be the better player. Lets take a look at his stats.

T.O. is still getting good average yards per catch, and he gets alot of touchdowns. (Although he does drop alot of passes) I think he would draw more double coverage off of Smith than Ocho would.
