I think you guys are reading into this whole Luck/Harbaugh thing too much. Unless one of them has put a ring on it, I think they can live without each other just fine. Don't forget that Harbaugh also had a good hand in developing and getting Josh Johnson into the NFL.

Oddly enough that scenario is the only way I might be ok with not getting Luck. If he doesn't want to play for us then I can live with that. If we trade him away without being forced to then it will be painful.

there is some name brand recognition. Maybe he would be getting paid for his playing accolades, his brother's accomplishments, Luck's freakish athleticism, and the fact that he is so close to the player many call the second coming of Elway.

The idea is that if he can turn Stanford into a winning football team, then he can do wonders for other teams as well. That's why Michigan wants him so badly, and that's why he's a wish-list candidate for a lot of NFL teams looking to hire.

I personally like him and his brother. I like Garrett's offense, even though it's totally devoid of good running. Our team could use some more screen routes that actually work...

I think Harbaugh can be successful because he knows how to develop QBs. I know that may seem like a small thing. But in todays NFL it's a pretty big deal.

But like someone said earlier. As long as he leaves Stanford I'll be happy. That would mean Luck definetly declares for the NFL.

Yea, thats my favorite as well. And he has experience working with young qb's. That would help if its Clausen, Luck or any other draft pick. But he has already turned down a couple of HC jobs, so I am not sure if he wants to leave.
