Great documentary, really shows what's going on at the grunt level. The book (War - Sebastian Junger) is even better and touches deeper on the disconnect between the military & politics.

Yeah it is. I went on a youtube war footage binge a while back and have seen the exact same reaction before. That feeling never changes no matter how many times you see it. Rock Avalanche seemed pretty damn rough.

It was very good, for me personally it reminded me how much better the USMC is than the USA, but Netflix has several very good documentaries about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I've been dying to see it, but Hollywood Video is gone, our Blockbuster just closed, and it's $20 at FYE. I need to buy it on Amazon, because I really want to see it.
