I have to admit, NC BBQ is way better than SC BBQ. I have always loved SC BBQ until I ate at a few places in NC. My favorite place by far is The Pit in Raleigh. I ate so much food there. They have a BBQ Cheese Fries Appetizer. It is amazing. By far the best place I have ever eaten, anything. Prices were very reasonable as well. Anyone who has never tried it, I recommend going any time you are within a days drive of getting there. 4 other people were with me, and we talked about it for months everytime we saw each other. I have been trying to make an excuse to drive 6 hours and eat there again. Even the desert was great. I had Bourbon Ice Cream.

Courtney's in Clover SC is pretty dam good.

We usually go to Parkers, but it's because Bill's is buffet. For takeout, we still go to Bill's.
