What about that is a perception on my behalf?

Reading the whole article I believe he was talking about tanking in terms of focusing on the CBA and not worrying about trying to put the team in the best situation to win.

Not tanking as in a conspiracy purposley trying to lose to get the #1 pick.

The entire conception of JR tanking (losing on purpose) is ridiculous. No matter what Silva's reasoning for it is. Its also irresponsible.

He says losing on purpose.... by not making obvious decsions to help the team win because his #1 concern is the CBA not winning.

That’s why such situations are so rare in the NFL – and I believe Richardson’s emotional attachment to the impending lockout is to blame. Richardson, you’ll recall, is the one who gave the fiery speech to fellow owners last March imploring them to shake down the players for a better deal.

That's a valid opinion and argument though you may not agree at all.

Well then don't understand it then. Its unprofessional, but it gets people to read. Making accusations with half-truths, it happens all the time. You only hear this from people on the outside with No clue. Have an opinion, but when you make accusations like that and can't back them up properly (which he did NOT) then you should keep your f**king mouth shut. THATS why people are pissed.

It is unprofessional. It assumes facts not into evidence. He is speculating about JR's motives. And we know with some things...he is flat out wrong. (Peppers)

He says this about JR:

Richardson, you’ll recall, is the one who gave the fiery speech to fellow owners last March imploring them to shake down the players for a better deal.

Do we believe that JR said to shake down the players?

JR got more involved this year....found a mess he had to start cleaning up. Going young has been said to be going cheap....in other places it is an investment in the future.

I think JR's mistake was thinking Foxy was a better coach than he is....did not plan on this season being this bad. Even I thought Foxy would do better than this.

I think this writer was a bit out of line.

JR might not deserve him but We the fans sure as hell do.

Whats funny is i think that is exactly what he said at the end of the article. yet every flipped out the rest of the article which i didnt think was bad at all.

did anyone even read this entire article? what is he saying that is so bad?

pep DID leave and we still havent upgraded roster at his position. JR did give that speech about taking back their NFL. lame duck coaches usually DONT do good. where is he being outrageous at?
