I'll defend Gross, Kalil & Beason because they all faced tough situations but Godfrey really doesn't deserve it at all. Yes, the interceptions were nice but that was the only contribution he made on D.

Meh I know and that's what is really sad. You would think the players and coaches would notice him chasing a receiver or TE into the endzone after he got beat deep every other week or completely missing numerous tackles each game.....

Besides getting run over by Hillis, Godfrey had an okay second half of the season.

That being said, I really don't think he should've gotten in as an alt over Charles Johnson. :V

apart from cj, kalil, and gross no panthers deserved to go (and gross is only there because LT talent in the NFC is so bad). some really bizarre safety choices this year though, apart from reed (who only played 9 games), polamalu and collins, they all had terrible years, and now godfrey is an alternate lmao

Glad to see Beason get included, he didn't have his best season ever but given the circumstances he played very well.

I'm glad for Godfrey but I really dont think he deserves it yet. He is steadily improving though

nope, he's positioning himself better than he used to. Playing safety isnt easy, I think he will be a stud at some point
