No need to rehash things all over about the TURD, but even guys on here could see that he made no adjustments and rarely disguised anything or mixed it up. You wonder what they did in practice since it obviously wasn't changing the scheme or trying to fool the other guys.

Worst of all Fox was going to hire him back. Can't believe he couldn't see what everyone else could. Unless of course the story about offering them jobs was a nice way for them get out of town without being canned. It is funny that guys left for lateral jobs or demotions. And so far none of the guys that stayed have been fired or asked to leave. Especially Crossman. I know he improved but he still had 3 blocked punts early.

I can't believe Fox condones the vanilla uncreative play. That is surely not how he coached defense as a coordinator. I figure he did what he could but in the end you have to let the coordinators do their job. As I find in managing 4 companies, I can't do it all myself and have to trust other folks to do their job even when things aren't ideal. It is too big a learning curve sometimes to always start from scratch.
