The Eagles defense didn't have to try and overcome 6 turnovers by their offense either, yet they gave up 1 less point than the Panthers.

Hell, the 85 Bears, which had the best defense I've seen in my lifetime, couldn't have overcome 6 turnovers by their QB in a play off game. There is a reason why coaches always say that your chances of winning go up exponentially when you win the turnover battle...because it's 100% true.

6 turnovers happened because they were trying to get themselves back in the game.

cardinals scored early and often.

defense could have stopped that.

and don't give me that short field crap. the defense is supposed to stop the ball wherever it is.

jake isn't supposed to turn it over like that either but i think the defense is just as at fault for putting our offense in that situation as the defense was for putting our offense in it.

no one did their job that night. the team sucked. people missed blocks. people missed tackles. people missed throws. people threw bad balls. people blew coverage. people called bad plays. the people screwed up.

they put themselves in panic mode. offense went to it early and the defense made adjustments far too late.

that was a whole team screw up.

They had ONE offensive player, Fitzgerald, and we couldn't cover him. I found it interesting that the Cards maintain that they called off the dogs in the second half, or it would have been much worse. I STILL cannot understand why, after the Cards first offensive possession, we didn't assign someone to mirror Fitzgerald and ensure that he got popped good every time he came off the line. Witho no Bolden to defend against, how could we NOT do that?

I say again, post this in the locker room. The absolute worst team in the playoffs, and one of the worst playoff teams ever, has EARNED the right to talk about our team like we're so much garbage. two types of teams, there are teams that play good during the regular season, and then there are teams that amp up their play in the postseason.

Our coaching staff is really dumb, so I'd rather not see the Cards again. Why do I want to see my Panthers get outsmarted yet again? Common fans know what defense to play against the Cards, and our coaching staff doesn't. I'm not looking forward to seeing the Panther coaching staff get embarrassed anymore.

To add insult to injury, Jake looked like me out there tossing it around. A random fan could have made better decisions than Jake in that game. I'm not joking.

Our team has amazing talent, but they are extremely dumb. Jake is clearly dumb as poo. Fox was so badly outsmarted that he makes our regular fans look like Vince Lombardi. And all Fox does, all day every day, is study football. And his plan was HORRIBLE. Like worse than what a Madden player would come up with. And he's making millions.

Our secondary is possibly dumber than Jake. That's an amazing feat. Look back over the season and see how many times one member of our secondary looks at another as if to say "WTF ARE YOU DOING????". Fitz running wide open. Hell pick any game against a decent opponent. We need a more simple defense.

I can easily say that the Panthers lose because of stupidity, players and coaches, more than any other factor. Fox is not a genius, and most of our players are not that bright imo. Thanks Fitz for pissing me off.
