New GM/President before a HC?

Do you think we'll hire a coach that will also help with GM duties? I think with Richardson calling the shots, he'll look for a GM first and then ask that GM to help find us a coach.

I know guys like Bill Pollian and Bobby Beathard come along once in a blue moon, but I really hope we find a great one this year. Maybe we can pull a "director of pro personnel" from a solid franchise like New England or Pittsburgh.

I wish I knew more about the available field of GM prospects.

From what I've heard, guys like Ron Hughes and Bill Kuharich are considered top candidates but I'm not sure what contracts their under.

Hurney is staying.

That being said the new HC will have some input on personel matters.

Hurney isn't going anywhere. This was established several weeks ago (hell longer than that....) Hurney and Morrison will be hiring the new coach.

I really don't think Hurney is going anywhere...

He might stay he might not I have a feeling this offseason is about to be the most active and probably wildest in Panther history. The house will probably be cleaned out and many people I know in the organization are preparing for the worst.

Morrison is one of the bright spots of this year. This guy cares about Panther football, the players and the fans. That guy is the most down to earth guy you will ever meet. ever time I have ever met him he talk to me like he knows me.

I need to stay out of threads that keep saying Hurney is a lock to return next year. Even though they're probably right, they make my blood boil every time I read them.
