You seem to have forgotten the fluke punt that bounced off DeCoud's heel -on the fly, no less - as he was running out of bounds. Saints recover, score game-tying FG. If that fluke doesn't happen, Saints don't even make it to OT.

Both teams had fluke plays go their way that game. Don't make it out to be simply a matter of your kicker missing.

Btw, we went 3-13 after the Storm, and almost lost our team, so your "pity" excuse doesnt equate. Most of the country believed there were no Saints fans left, and was ok with the team moving. Well, rumors of our demise were exaggerated, as we filled our stadium to capacity buying up all the season tickets --- after a 3-13 year, you know, kinda like the year you're having now, minus the natural disaster. Lets see you do that next year.

We supported our Saints in the bad years, and believed in New Orleans (and the MS Gulf Coast) when others pronounced her dead. So yeah, we're gonna celebrate now.:ciappa:
