Exactly. Our current run first, play not to lose philosophy will be out the door when Fox's time has run out. We already have a roster that has been completely overhauled with our young playmakers in place, and I can honestly see JR making big changes in terms of style of Carolina Panther football. Draft Luck and pay his coach if the option is there.

The NFCS is a scoring division headed by 3 very good QBs, Carolina is going to struggle without a dynamic weapon at QB and without an offense that can put up points.

i've been thinking for over a year now that harbaugh would be the perfect fit here because of his aggressive and physical brand of football.

luck being the best QB prospect there is this year makes him a natural pick for us, being a team who has sucked at QB for years and who will continue to as long as we stay the course.

having both of these guys together just emans a relationship will already be established and luck will have that much of a head start in the league. he already knows harbaugh's tendnecies and harbaugh already knows perfectly what he is capable of.

getting them both together just makes too much sense.

I feel it's sort of implicit in these conversations that a lot people think Luck, being the deadly accurate, physically imposing pocket passer that he is, has to be as mobile as a mannequin and a Drew Bledsoe clone. Yeah not exactly. Luck is mobile, intelligent, and tough as poo. He's a franchise quarterback and we need one and I'm sick of you pussies arguing that we should be winning games 13-10 with our QB going 6-13 for 100 yards and a pick otherwise we're not "physical". We just got 8 years of that.

This is why it won't happen. I hope it does, but the Panthers are stubborn and do things their own way. The league has changed while we've stayed stuck back in the 70's.
