palmer's big day - was TO really the problem?

Palmer looked decidedly Brady-like... perhaps saving Marvin Lewis' job if they can win again next week. Crazy stuff - 4 TDs, 269 yards on just 16 passes... Does anyone think they'll be dumping him this offseason now? Didn't see the game - the writeups blame the Chargers for the loss almost as much as excellent play from Palmer but that was probably Palmer's best game since his surgery.

TO is gone, however. Apparently his ability to back up his talk on the field wasn't enough. =P He'll be gone.. and 85 may be too, but time will tell there (I don't think Chad deserves the flak he gets personally).

A bunch of "no names" really showed up yesterday... impressive numbers to end the Chargers' season.

Visit the Bengals Message Board and the vast majority believe TO is to blame....

yeah, Palmer really made all the throws to keep the team going

is he that bad a lockerroom cancer? I have heard all the talk, I've seen his media crud, but I never thought he was actually as bad as people made him out to be... thought he was just an outspoken teammate who said some dumb stuff occasionally. Yet if the Bengals have a repeat performance next week...

They actually have good stats on that board.... basically showing that the over whelming majority of his Int's have occured while trying to force the ball to TO to please him. When he can just play QB without worrying about getting people touches he's a good QB.
