I know I'm going against the grain here but I usually like what Yas has to say. I particularly like how he ended the column.

I actually rarely like what Yas has to say - I think he's entirely full of himself and is working way too hard to prove he's partial by hating on the Panthers or something.

With that said I do very much like what he's got to say here - I think it's his best piece of work in a while and I'm glad to see someone saying this nationally. I travel a lot for work and I hear similar on out of town sports talk radio with some degree of regularity; it makes my blood boil too.

I've never met a New Yorker that wasn't full of himself and the city, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

It's about time WE stood up to this BS that we get as Panther fans... not to get off track but I think it was funny as h3ll that the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup in '06...you know, those inbred hicks in the Carolinas are not supposed to have hockey!

Yeah, I actually read Yas, I dont mind him. I dont get what people think that he hates on the Panthers so much. He has said if there is one team in the division he roots for, its the Panthers. Maybe he overdoes it sometimes to not show bias?
