DITTO-

I thinky he Got "Williamed"

(means you sit the bench way to long spoiling great talent)

After watching what Williams did this year and knowing that he sat behind a turd like Foster, I can't help but agree with this. Thing is it's a little different with Jarrett because Moose had all appearances of still being capable. I guess we could get Jarrett in there with 3WR sets more, but good grief do we really want to do that when we COULD HAVE RUN THE BALL :toetap05:

definition, by appearance, of a carolina panther: waiting anxiously for potential to be met.

Actually, I think we're sick to death with possession receivers. Depending on the set, we had 5 guys on roster to put in the slot last year. Jarrett, Hackett, King, Rosario and Barnidge. I would like to see us switch it up occasionally with what little deep speed we have. Jones (don't laff, he's faster than the the aforementioned guys), Robinson, Carter and Moore. It's kind of a moot point with our run first mentality and I'm pretty sure all the BDJJSniffers will pooh-pooh all over this idea in their lust for reps for "their guy". Great passing teams distribute the ball more than we do percentage wise, even if they do have that one receiver with elite skills.

#4 gameday WR position - As a pure receiver, I like Carter better than the others, but the primary job of the #4 receiver on this team is currently KR/PR and I like Jones better for that. Best combined at both jobs and you can only keep one? I think it's Robinson. They are all better than the piecemeal crap we used to try to muddle by with after Smitty. Fierce competition coming in TC for this roster spot if everyone is healthy.

Jarrett's not a slot receiver, so if you want him to get more opportunities then you need to sit Moose more. It's not on Jake, it's like wondering why Nick Goings didn't get more shots. Well, when you're behind Williams and Stewart you're just SOL. Same with being behind Smitty and Moose.

I would like to see Jones lined up as a receiver more next year. I hope to see Barnidge get a lot of playing time as well. I'm looking forward to getting Robinson and Connor back to see what they can do. It will be nice to see Landon Johnson and DJ Hackett on the cut list. Most of all I'm looking forward to seeing the new defensive line and how it works out.

I'll definitely agree with Charles Johnson, and I wouldn't mind seeing a little more Hilee Taylor, either. Depending on what we do at the defensive end position, I'd say both are fairly probable.

Though I'd like to see some of our tight ends and other receivers a bit more, I do agree with Cyberjag that there isn't a whole lot of room for them in this offense. I suppose it's a good problem to have.

I have been wanting JeffKing to do more since the day we got him. The man caught everything at VA Tech, and almost unused here. I thought we were gettin back to a catchin TE when he was brought in. I dont know much about the Barnidge kid, so Im not sayin King is better. Im lookin for a reason to justify gettin his jersey. 'KING' on the back is just plain pimp...
