At 9-6 and with two straight losses, going 2-4 the last 6 games the Giants are primed for yet another late season slump. Probably the last one they can tolerate.

A win today would've given them a postseason berth but now they are on the verge of slipping out of the race, and they're going to have to win and get some help next week.

So as of right now coach Tom has a lot to answer for. Another disappointing loss, and even if they beat the redskins they could be out providing Green Bay beats Chicago next week (which won't be easy since Chi has Philly breathing down their neck for a bye) and New Orleans clinches a berth by either beating the Falcons tomorrow night or Tampa Bay next week.
