Architectural Engineering??? C'MON MAN!!!

I kind of question his commitment to football honestly if he wants a degree in something else that bad.

I know it's kind of lame for some of these guys to get degrees in studio art or communications but you know that they love football the most.

UNCC and Clemson have great architectural programs.

His teammates and coaches say he lives, eats, breathes and sleeps football.

That's why I think we're looking at negotiating tactics here.

Why do you care why its important to him? He is a product of a great home and has a very successful father. He doesnt have the same values as you. Believe it or not, there are people who value education above sports, no matter what position they are put in.

Some of you sound so salty over the fact that the kid might not play for the Panthers and are trying to throw stones whatever ways that you can.

Being the number 1 pick means nothing if you continue to lose and get destroyed every other play. I bet you David Carr would give up a few million if he could have been drafted later to a team that didnt get him destroyed and kill his confidence.

Luck is a bright kid. He knows what hes doing.

And LMAO @ anyone who thinks that a Stanford student would transfer their credits to UNCC

Christ man you don't need to keep making such severe exaggerations or making ignorant assumptions about my values. Discussions are a lot easier without constant immature attempts to turn everything negative.

My first interest out of highschool was architecture and it's an extremely taxing major. It takes all your time and you have to be extremely committed. I did the first year of architecture at Clemson which is very highly regarded for their graduate and undergrad programs.

I was also doing construction and I dropped Architecture because it was too much to go after both majors. I couldn't really apply myself in either of them like I wanted.

I'm wondering why he wants to finish his degree so badly when he will need a huge refresher in materials/methods 15 years from now anyway.

Clemson/UNCC both have great programs that he could use to keep pursuing his degree with an NFL career.

I'm just throwing out a concern that football may not be his #1 passion. I'm not trying to tear down his character, relax.

he can still enter the draft next year. Its not like getting his degree disqualifies him. And if people think another year in college will lower his draft stock, i guess he's not as good as they think he is huh?

he could break a leg next year, stink it up, whatever. any myriad of things could happen between now and next years draft... jake locker went from being the #1 QB prospect to what...2nd or maybe even 3rd-4th round after returning for his senior year? potentially (likely) pissed away many many millions of dollars.

Part of me hopes that Luck stays in school just so we can see the complete meltdown of Huddlers who are pissed off that a young man decided to further his education.

There could be some awesomely hilarious bitching going on.

Unintentional comedy could be off the scale.

A degree from Stanford in anything is an accomplishment 99% of us could not succeed in. Luck is a competitor and he wants to say he finished his degree. I totally understand where he is coming from and it makes me want him even more.no homo, ok maybe a little
