palmer is unlikely to leave cinci, vick isn't going anywhere, and didn't Orton just sign a big contract extension this season?

McNabb is an option.

I really think Palmer is gone. They are fed up with him in Cincy. Vick will test FA unless the Eagles really want to open the pocketbook (which they wont with Kolb there). Orton probably will stay in Denver to back up The Golden Calf of Bristol.

Carson - hasn't been the same since being injured. Would be a waste of money, and would do nothing but add an old quarterback to the roster who turns the ball over just as much as Jake.

McNabb - inaccurate, overrated, and unless we change our offensive system he would not fit here.

Vick - he will be franchise tagged by the Eagles, or signed long term.

Orton - dink and dunk quarterback who accrues stats in garbage time when the outcome of the game has already been decided. he'd certainly be a step up from what we have now, but he's not a quarterback you build a team around.

I just don't see the Eagles letting go of Vick... the guy is in the MVP discussion for a reason. Also, he's very unlikely to be a Panther for a million reasons previously discussed.

I don't think Palmer is gone, but I guess we'll see. His latest monster game is likely to secure his position next year I think.

We had a good shot to get Vick already and turned it down.

Who plays QB in Cinci if you cut Palmer? Lil Palmer? There isn't an upgrade out there. They'll draft one to groom, but that pick will sit behind Carson for at least a year, unless they want Jordan teaching.

Palmer had a great game yesterday and now people are talking about keeping him and getting rid of TO and ocho cinco.
