Tebow is better than Clausen

What's sad for Josh McDaniels is, had he played the guy he drafted earlier, he would still have a job today.

QB play wasn't his problem. Orton and nobody WRs were putting up HUGE numbers. His issue was no defense and he was a pain in the ass. But yeah, The Golden Calf of Bristol makes Clausen look bad. Shoot, the Skeleton kid makes Clausen look bad. Jeff Otah could line up at QB and probably perform as well as Clausen.

You can say what you want about The Golden Calf of Bristol... But, just like guys like Colt McCoy, Bradford, Ryan, and every other young QB that's had success... They all have the 'intangibles' which includes the work ethic and the desire to be the best, as many of those I mentioned have stated publicly.

It makes a huge difference.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is supposed to be better, he was drafted higher. Anyway, if we're gonna sign a veteran to back up Luck next year, Orton might be an attractive option.

Not true. The Golden Calf of Bristol was projected to be a MUCH bigger project and take much longer to be ready to play than Clausen. Just b/c one team does something and reaches for a kid doesn't mean he SHOULD be better.

Skeleton does not make Clausen look bad. Skeleton makes Skeleton look bad.

Teabag had a good game, not a stellar game, but a good, solid one. That's far from anointing him the next great thing.

Skeleton is a 5th rounder from Fordham....and he is ahead of Clausen. Maybe not by much put he plays better 3 starts into his career than Clausen is currently.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is well ahead of Clausen in only 2 starts. Clausen is just flat out bad.

People worry about Luck, saying he could be a bust. And busts happen every draft or so in the QB category. But guess what? Our bust happened this year. It was Clausen. I feel confident Luck will succeed. As for The Golden Calf of Bristol, good for him. He's an odd duck, and his faith is made fun of a lot. It takes balls to stand up for what you believe. I don't think he'll be a top tier talent, but it's cool to see him hang in there with the best of the best...well...ok, Houston sucks. But you know what I mean.

Denver put up 31 against em last time they played...sounds like they've got their number. In regards to the topic, The Golden Calf of Bristol has looked more impressive than clausen, but who didn't expect that? The Golden Calf of Bristol had a much better college career and while Jimmy played in a pro system, he also had coaches that called plays that they knew suited his style of play. Not the case here.

Face it Clasun screwed us and we screwed ourselves in the process. Clasun will be around next year with us. Clasun has a 4 year 25 million contract or around that area. But I think he will be backup if Luck comes in. But I agree Clasun has failed to impress at all. He hasn't showed much improvement at all while after a few games The Golden Calf of Bristol showed he can be a NFL QB. Hopefully we will get luck or a another good QB in the draft. Hope is all we got right now.
