Charlie Casserly says harbaugh looking

I just don't see how he goes from Stanford to Michigan if NFL jobs are available... and they will be. I realize Michigan is a step up in may ways, but the thing there is that it is likely a multi-year rebuild. If his plans are to coach in the NFL at any point soon, this is a great shot unless he really has his eye on one team in particular.

Michigan is his Alma Mater, so you never know. I personally think coaching at your Alma Mater is overrated.

If it goes bad, it can really sour things.

I seriously doubt Harbaugh would allow for that possibility in his decision-making, though.

Harbaugh was on our team when we went 1-15 in 2001, so we have that connection going for us.

After researching his profile, I felt like he already knew half the people in the building.

Of the guys that seem most in contention, he and Grimm would be the ones I consider the most connected.

I have no issue with Grimm either. Look the old addage is best used here 'it isn't about getting the popular coach, its about getting the right coach'. We have went with TWO 'NAME' HC's already and sucked. How about we get the RIGHT HC for once.

Oh and finally take a franchise QB...

Based on what?

Of the openings expected to be out there, we're as attractive as anything, and you could make a good argument more so.

It is all speculation. But my opinion comes more from knowing JR rather than anything about JH. He is a fit here but bringing him and luck here shows balls.

If you're flying the "cheap" flag, it doesn't wash.

JR has never worried about spending prior to this year, and it's a unique situation.
