in that scenario I would be fine with tet but I doubt a second round edge rusher is going to help this defense all that much for next season unless we hit gold with the pick

 

I think Walker or Graham immediately elevates everyone around them

Tet plays too soft to be a number 1 option in the NFL. I think he will bust

If I were the GM but I’m not. We will reach for an edge guy who will be JAG. I promise you that. Despite the number of JAG’s we could pick-up later.

Why would we take him when we could take Tyler Warren? Warren is both a receiver and a tight end? Pair him with Sanders and you have a pretty damn good tight end room that provides you a ton of flexibility.

Because Warren will get about 600 yards and 4 tds in this offense.  Sanders gets open, catches everything and Bryce hardly looks his way

That is my concern too. I'm not sold on the edge group after Carter and Walker, would rather wait until the second round for edge in that scenario.

You go Warren or McMillian or the Marshall DE. I think it's too early for Emmanwori, but he's a freakish numbers guy and we need safety help.

Agree. Its a combo of needs (what position can we say, "nah we good") and then after the first 5 guys, a big clump of talent---preceived by scouting services.
