Kinects is a blast. Got it for my son for Christmas.

One of my friends works for Microsoft and was one of a few that actually got to Beta test the units and games. We have been playing it for about 6 months or so.

Games are limited right now, but you will be blown away with some of the games on the horizon. They will be converting many of your favorite XBox games into the Kinects format. This technology is going to be a blast.

They had one set up at the New Years Eve party I attended yesterday.

Played on the Sports one (Kinect Sports?). I give it a resounding meh.

Suffers from the same problems as the Wii - it doesn't track your movements very well at all.

I can only speak from my experience, but they may not of had placement or lighting setup very good. So far on my Kinect I have had 0 issues with it tracking our movements.
