Bought one at launch, very cool device. It's mainly for my daughter, the Kinectables game is like crack for her, if I didn't limit her play she would play that game until her brain was fried. The Kinect Sports game is awesome. Haven't tried the video chat yet. It's worth the money and I believe the call of duties and first persons will be on there way for it soon.

Don't have a kinect, but I did get the new 250 GB system for Christmas. It is supposed to be more energy efficient and quieter than the old systems.

Has anybody heard anything BAD about the system itself, such as over heating or hardware issues? My old Arcade system got the RRoD and I seriously don't want that to happen with this one.

After reading this thread, I kinda want to get the kinect to prove to my dad that the kinect IS better than his Wii. He's in love with the thing and bashes the kinect whenever a commercial comes on (63 year old man who thinks he is tech smart).

Plugs into the xbox. 1 wire takes 30 seconds to setup.
