Just put a ruler into the snow. 5 1/2 inches on the ground outside of Greenville, NC.

we are due for 8 to 12 inches in philly. most of it coming during the vikes/eagles game tonight.

Biggest inconvenience for us is having to go outside and shake the snow off the satellite dish so we can get reception again.

Cable went out, but thank God the power didn't. My cat was so scare, she refused to purr. I had to go to the new place before lunch and meet the carpenter, but the roads were clear here in Charlotte. I got back to the apartment about 6:00. Roads will be tricky in the morning if it freezes. The snow makes everything pretty though.

About a foot here outside Wilson in the boonies and it just stopped snowing a few minutes ago. The kids have been in it all day, Casey taking pics and Ty on the 4 wheeler with his friend.

Chris's dad's funeral has been postponed until tomorrow because of the snow; it was supposed to be today.
