Yea.... All the teams who drafted franchise QB's at the beginning of the draft should've traded down and not taken a chance on a player who could possibly fill the most important role on the roster.

Even though this is a Qb league and your QB play usually have a big factor on your success.

would you seriously, of all the QBs in the NFL, get Kyle Orton? and keep Connor at MLB?

Who else is available?

McNabb? Old and is very scheme specific.

Hassellbeck? Old and injuries are piling up on dome head.

Alex Smith and Matt Moore? I combined these two cause i think they have similar ceiling. Career backups who can flash some talent.

Collins? Kerry coming back to Charlotte would be funny.

So all the QB's of the NFL are not available. I would pick up Orton.

I kept Connor at MLB cause he lacks the speed of a OLB. BUT he does what our current defensive scheme calls for at MLB. Beason is a rare LB that can play anywhere. You improve the dline and the linebackers are gonna make plays. I think Mebane and Austin would be a solid interior.

Orton sucks, we're drafting Luck. It's amazing to me that there are still Panther fans out there that are willing to stick with a mediocre QB STILL over an unknown, young QB with lots of potential all because they're too scared of the young QB being terrible. Total irrational logic.

I think we win the Luck sweepstakes and get him. Then we bring in some veteran quarterback in case the line sucks too bad, or he isn't ready. We keep Deangelo because . . . I love him. We move Goodson somewhere he can be the guy. Jacoby Jones is a good depth receiver and a pretty good return man. We finally bring in legitimate receiving tight end in a guy like Daniels to help the young quarterback. We finally settle the RG spot with a guy in the draft.

Kelly Gregg isn't a free agent, but the Ravens are going to be paying a lot of guys a lot of money, and they have his heir apparent in Terrance Cody. The Giants have far too many resources committed to their front seven so Kiwi walks and moves back to his true position at DE. A lot of people say that Jon Beason is better at middle linebacker, and he is. But the linebacking core will be greater as a whole if it includes him and Connor. Connor played some great middle linebacker this year and should be kept there. And we spend some big money to get Joseph who is a good young corner coming off his rookie contract because Munnerlyn isn't ready for that starting role just yet.

No i imagine those that got the "franchise QB" are happy with the choice. BUT there is a couple teams that thought they were drafting a "franchise Qb" that likely would trade down if given a do over.

I bet the Raiders would like to take Adrian Peterson or Darrelle Revis instead of Russell. The Titans may not have been as high on Vince Young and the Cardinals for sure would pass on the last golden boy from the PAC 10. Or how bout Alex Smith? I bet Roddy White or Shawn Merriman would have done pretty well in the Bay. Joey Harrington, David Carr, Akili Smith, Drew Brees at the top of the SECOND. Brett Favre passed over by the entire league several times over. The examples are nearly endless. It's a crap shoot.

is our first round pick Marvin Austin? if it is, this is a joke. that guy is a third rounder right now, not even in consideration for top 5 picks. if you went Nick Fairley or someone like that, then atleast it's a bit better
