Ok everyone do you honestly think a rookie QB is the answer? Do you think the incoming head coach is gonna want to go into the draft with just the first overall and a third round pick? Is Deangelo gonna give us a hometown discount and how long do we keep Goodson on the bench wasting his talent? Do you think Smith wants to play with ANOTHER rookie? What FA veteran QB do you want to bring in or are you convinced that LUCK is gonna come in and play flawless ball? Think real hard about the answers to those questions this off season. I am convinced that for the next 10+ years Luck would give us the best chance to consistently win and make a superbowl... over Orton.

would you seriously, of all the QBs in the NFL, get Kyle Orton? and keep Connor at MLB?

If he signs a contract to coach here, yes, because that's what we have.

Sticking with Clausen over Andrew Luck would be a mistake that could haunt us for the next decade (or more).

I am also convinced that putting your hopes into a kid that has not decided to declare is presumptuous. Also to not explore the trade down option is not how "real" franchises run.
